A driver was arrested after the police said that he was hit and killed a woman who was crossing the street in Long Beach.
The suspect was identified as Eric Dyn Moody, 65, from Los Angeles, according to Long Beach Police Department.

The victim, who was known only as a woman, was crossing the street in a cross -corridor when a driver in Chevrolet Camaro shocked her. The woman was taken to the hospital, where she died later as a result of her wounds.
The driver initially escaped from the scene, but the police said that he returned to the area about 40 minutes later.
He was arrested for unintentional murder of cars and a felony. He is being held in Long Beach City Prison on bail of $ 50,000.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. The police said, “At this time, the speed, dispersed leadership and poor driving do not seem to be factors in a collision,” the police said.
