KDVR – a group of children and the teacher safe after a confrontation with a woman who said the police was holding a knife and threatening to kill them.
Bulder Police Administration stated that the accident occurred before 11 am on Monday in the 1700 Broadway bloc. The area is located near Bulder’s high school, but the police did not say where the teacher and children were associated with the secondary school.
However, the agency said that the woman got 10 feet from the group and was threatening to kill them while giving up the knife, according to witnesses. The teacher and students have moved away and did not harm.
The officers found the suspect shortly near the intersection of 17 and Arapahoe Street. She was identified as Alyssa Barger, 31, from Arizona, and was seized in Buldand County Prison in a felony threat.
“The type of criminal behavior in our society will not be tolerated and proud of the good police acts carried out by officers Morris, Badley, Harris and Haydley today to find the suspect responsible for intimidating these teachers and children,” Bulder Police Chief Steve Redfern said in the administration statement.
However, Bulder Police believes that there can be more victims and ask anyone who has management contact information at 303-441-1974 and the reference number 25-04126.
