'Wildfires can really devastate a community': South Metro Fire emphasizes importance of following burn restrictions

Centennial, COLO. (KDVR) – Dry grass sound while moving via Colorado tracks. An indication of the risks that the region can form if the worst happens.

“When it started to turn yellow and dry, this is anxiety. Especially when it begins tall, and this is more important,” said the South Fire Conor Christian General Information official.

South Metro Fire responded to three residential fires, one vegetable fire and one commercial fire last week alone.

“We have seen again a very crowded week with these fires,” Christian said.

Do not dilute and also for a fire season, the dry Colorado environment means that it is extremely important to be awake and properly get rid of flammable materials.

“If you are in the open air, you just have to be very aware of how your actions affect those around you,” said Christian. “The area in which you live, and notes the guidelines in the province and guidelines at the state level, which will be the best resource for you to find out what you are allowed to do and what you are not allowed to do.”

Currently, all South Metro South fire covers are located in the first stage. Jefferson provinces, Douglas, and Arabahu. This means that there is no open burning, no smoking in the open spaces, no open air barbecue unless the use of devices fed by gas or coal grills in the areas that were disinfected and no use of fireworks at all.

“We have fires throughout the state throughout the state, some of which are the great firefighters at the present time. I think this will be enough for people to falsify their ears and keep their eyes open. Forest fires can destroy a community.”
