Whale watching tour off Newport Beach gets rare visit from 'phantoms' of the Pacific

The whale watching a journey off the coast of Orange County obtained a visit by a pair of friendly whales and “very curious”.

The meeting took place on Tuesday morning between the whales and the Davi whale whale tour, miles away from the Nioport Beach coast.

The common video with KTLA showed that shy and soft marine mammals usually approach the boat, as it spins several times and placed several feet away.

According to Jessica Rodriguez, the Director of Education and Communications in watching the Divi Treasury whale, like this is very rare.

“The shy and rapid whales are often known as” phantom “in the Pacific Ocean due to the time of the brief surface and fast movements,” said Rodriguez. “This meeting was a painful reminder of the deep communication that could happen between humans and marine life when we take the time to monitor and protect the ocean environment.”

Among the passengers treated with the rare presentation of the Diplomacy of Types, a group of students from the local Monte Vista Primary School.
