Police is looking for four of the suspects who had broke their way to West Los Angeles bakery Thursday morning.
He led the suspects to Bibi’s Baker & Cafe at 8928 West Pico Blvd. In the Pico Robertson neighborhood at 2:30 am
Surveillance shots showed convincing thieves using a hammer to break the glass front door quickly before running.
They were seen using a tool to open a cash and safety, but they did not eventually succeed.
“They ended up taking advice that was on the table, so perhaps it was $ 50 tips that we accumulated,” said owner Dan Missingger.
After emptying the jar, they fled the store in a black sedan before the police arrived at the scene.
The employees who arrived at the bakery at the same time heard the resonance of the security alarm and immediately called the store owner.
“They went to the forefront.” He criticized the door and took the money. “
Although he left the chaos cleaning and covered the cost of replacing his front door, Missinger said he was grateful because no one was injured during the storming.
He said: “A silver lining today was the support of society.” “This makes me feel good at home to know that we have their support.”
