San Francisco (Kron) – Human Rideshare drivers who work for Uber by their robots. At least, this is the word from the CEO of Uber Dara Khosrowshahi.
Uber recently started to provide horseback riding in self -governing taxis in Atlanta and Austin.
According to Khosrowshahi, robots compete with more trips than human drivers.
“In both cases, the average Waymo is more busy than 99 % of our drivers in terms of complete flights daily,” the CEO said during the daily complete trips. Uber profit call Wednesday.
Although this may be good news of self -driving cars that operate within the Uber Application network, it may spell bad news for the human Rideshare drivers. Uber invested extensively in AVS, which recently puts $ 300 million in Lucid in the independent car maker as part of the deal that Rideshare will see using Gravity EV as a robotics owner.
Uber has a partnership with Nuro Program Manufacturers to develop independent taxis.
In his speech to the partnerships of Noro and Lucid in a call on Wednesday, Josesarhahi said that Uber was “a company led by the show.”
“The higher the number of drivers in the ecosystem that we can integrate with our platform, the better our service, which applies with automated and independent drivers as well,” Joseshehi added.

Speaking to Business Insider earlier this year, Khosrowshahi said he expected human drivers to coexist with independent vehicles and “work in a hybrid network” for the next decade.
“Ten years from now, things may be different,” The CEO of BI said in January.
