WATCH: Browns QB Shedeur Sanders Posts Viral TikTok Dance After NFL Dream Becomes Reality

Shedeur Sanders has put up with a lot of grief and has had to deal with the humbling effects of dropping from the first round all the way to the fifth. Along the way, he was the subject of a prank call on a draft day, was called arrogant, had his character questioned, and has seen his original first-round evaluation get questioned in the maelstrom of the media.

However, Sanders has handled this moment with grace. He’s said all of the right things since his humbling and is not shying away from the moment. Going so far as to put himself out there doing a TikTok dance and showing that he’s keeping his sense of humor.

Sanders Puts Up a TikTok Dance And Keeps Moving on

On Sunday, April 27, NFL commentator Dov Kleinman took to social media to defend and laud Sanders, who danced to the song “I’m So ATL” by Atlanta rapper Bankroll Ni.

“Just In: Star QB Shedeur Sanders has released his first TikTok dance since being drafted by the Cleveland Browns. How do people hate on this kid??”

The one-time highly touted prospect is now set to go to Cleveland and be part of a four-man quarterback room with Kenny Pickett, long-time veteran Joe Flacco, and Dillon Gabriel, who was drafted two rounds ahead of him.

His path to starting is uncertain, but at least in the moment, he’s keeping a sense of humor about himself while also doing a commercial for Delta Air Lines.

Whether or not he’ll be a success in the NFL is up for debate, but what can’t be denied is that he’s okay with putting himself out there.

The son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders put up a great senior year for the Colorado Buffaloes, throwing for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns against 10 interceptions, and led the NCAA with a 74.0% completion rate. He was originally considered a top-five pick, but he did have to deal with some legitimate concerns.

Daniel Jeremiah pointed out that, “this was the negative side of it. It was the drifting out of pockets. It was taking bad sacks at inopportune times.”

“The thing to me was just playing faster. He just got to speed up his clock and play faster, but when he’s got everything lined up and he gets his feet in the ground, he is a very accurate thrower,” Jeremiah explained.

Now, Sanders will enter the league with presumably the biggest chip on anyone’s shoulder after falling so far so fast. Now it’s up to him to prove his doubters wrong and show that he can be a starter in the league, even in the face of harsh criticism.
