“Through a heavy heart we leave from this site, because we enjoyed the service of this society completely over the past two and a half years.” “It was an honor to serve this society and we really appreciate the relationships we have with Walnut Creek in the course of these many years.
“We hope this is just a temporary exit from Walnut Creek. We will continue to examine possible future sites in this great city.”
A Walnut Creek resident posted the post on Facebook page For community members. The advertisement received the closure of Skipolini hundreds of reactions to the news – many of which were sad about the closure.
Skipolini was the first in Clayton in 1974, which was opened by IPSEN Bev and Skip’s parents. It has since opened more sites in the eastern Gulf. Other Skipolini sites currently open: Antioch, Clayton, Concord, Folsom, Oakley, Rocklin and Reno (NEV.). Last year, select Skipolini’s Fifty anniversary.
