Vision Zero plan sets 2030 goal to address driver and pedestrian safety

Denver (KDVR) – An infantry participated in a collision near Sheridan Street and Bayuod Street on Saturday night.

The police have not yet issued any information about whether there were any injuries, but they told Fox31 that the person concerned was cited to cross outside the corridor. Accidents can increase during the warm weather months, as more people have external activities and summer holidays.

“You know the drivers, and sometimes they don’t care.”

Fox31 reported at least two accidents in Feder Boulevard near Empower Field in April. Two people have been killed near the fourteenth and federal since 2023, when there are three bus stations 50 feet from the intersection.

Fox31 has witnessed many drivers, a striking, 35 miles dreamer of a federal street and 14 Street intersection. An electronic warning sign was also alerting drivers.

The voters have agreed to finance to build an additional safety last fall. A spokesman for the Denver Police Department Fox31 made a statement saying, “Traffic safety is the shared responsibility of all those who use our transportation infrastructure.”

The Denver’s Vision Zero plan is part of the efforts made to address the safety risks of pedestrians, drivers, bikers and those on motorcycles. The plan includes a five -year strategy to achieve zero traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2030.

Fox31 spoke to drivers and pedestrians who are grateful for initiatives and projects that improve safety throughout the city and hope that everyone who uses roads and sidewalks will show a sense of individual responsibility.

“Be more cautious and cautious to others.”

Vision Zero is part of the International Vision Zero program, a partnership between the city, the state, the drivers, the bike and the pedestrians.
