A 36 -year -old Oxnard is facing multiple criminal charges regarding a series of vehicles stealing and stealing identity in a thousand Ox, after achieving for months by Ventura Province authorities.
According to press release From the Vintora Sharif County Office, investigators in the Property Crime Unit of East County Investigations Office began in July after a series of non -aforementioned vehicles were reported in a thousand Ox.
It is claimed that the suspects stole money, credit cards, personal information, and other property, later using stolen credit cards in companies in Vinterora Province.
Investigators have identified a vehicle believed to be involved and finally connected to Fernando Salinas from Oxenard with crimes. Salinas was arrested on September 18 by the Los Angeles Sharif, on charges of non -relevant residential robbery.
The next day, investigators in Vinterora Province obtained an arrest warrant for Salinas related to stealing a thousand Oks. The Vintora County Public Prosecutor’s Office has provided charges of stealing identity, major theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, and trivial theft with previous convictions, according to Sharif’s office.
Officials said Salinas is still being held in Los Angeles Province and will be handed over to Ventura as soon as he was released. Investigators continue to investigate and work to identify additional suspects in the case.
The Sharif Population Office urged to stay vigilant by locking their cars and removing valuable things, noting that although a thousand Oks is a safe society, criminals can benefit from a false sense of safety.
