Vandinberg Space Base has announced that the US military will test an unarmed nuclear missile from the Northern Santa Barbara province early Wednesday morning.
Residents of South California may be able to between 12:01 am and 5:01 am on May 21 to hear or look at the continental ballistic missile (ICBM).
The World Air Force Command explained that the launch of the test of this weapon suffering from missiles is “showing the willingness of the American nuclear forces” and proving “the lethality and effectiveness of the nation’s nuclear deterrent.”
Previous launch operations were also used for missile test to collect performance data and analyze them to “assess the current missile system competencies”, according to US Air Force officials.
The launch of Wednesday, which Vandinberg said was routine, was scheduled to be a date before.
“In line with previous test launches, the launch of this ICBM test will confirm the health and verification of the effectiveness and accuracy of the weapons system,” added the space power base.
