Austin-The Texas Environmental Campaign acquired another level in another level in the fifteenth annual Trash Manoor Challenge on Saturday.
The subject of this year was Quinceñera, and designers were challenged to create culturally inspired pieces affected by traditions. In this event, designers used neglected bottles, reused garbage bags and more to display the innovation of materials that were re -identified into bright clothes.
Nick Banin, the chief meteorologist at KXAN, has a chance to stimulate the fashion show.
“An opportunity not only to raise money for a good issue, which people love, but also our opportunity to see the best of 90 % better-as it has been recycled, reused or reinstated and converted into high fashion,” said Jeffrey Jacobi, Vice Director of TCE.
A press release said that designers in the past used materials like more than 900 Coca -Cola bottle covers to make a coat and more than 600 thickness scales made in a skirt.
“[It’s] About making sure that people understand that if we are able to make high fashion-from our neglected bottles and garbage bags … We, as a society, can do a lot of good together by taking advantage of the things we have already. “
The event took place at Texas Disposal Systems Wildlife Ranch & Pavilion. The event’s revenues towards the popular base from TCE went to the healthiest and healthier solutions for Texas.
