USHER AND TAMEKA FOSTER’S SON, CINCO, HEADS TO JUNIOR PROM

Usher and Tameka Foster’s son, Usher Raymond V, known to many as Cinco, is growing up before our eyes!

Over the Mother’s Day weekend, the teen attended his junior prom, and both of his parents shared their excitement and pride as they marked the occasion on social media.

“Nothing beats being there for my kids as they grow up,” Usher wrote alongside a series of prom photos. “It’s moments like these that are truly the most fulfilling. Cinco had prom last [weekend] and I couldn’t be more proud of the young man he has become. Aura. #CINCO”

Tameka also posted a video of her son and his prom date, reflecting on the moment as she watched him take another big step. “Hey Young World… time really does fly. My baby Cinco is off to his first prom (Junior year!), and my heart can’t even handle the thought of Senior prom next year,” she wrote.

She added, “I feel so blessed to witness another one of my young kings hit another milestone. If you make it to the end of the video—yes, that’s me being a Mama, fussing because he’s holding his date’s dress like it’s a beach towel. Lord help me. IM SO PROUD OF THEM HONESTLY.”

Cinco was born on November 27, 2007, during Usher and Tameka’s marriage. In 2008, father and son appeared together on the cover of Essence, where Usher reflected on how becoming a dad made him want to be a better father than his own.

“You should never abandon that responsibility, which is to be there, reading with your child, being supportive of your child’s growth,” he told the publication. “That is communicating. That is making the choice to put your child before your own vanity.”

Now a father of four, Usher shares sons Cinco and Naviyd Ely with Foster, and daughter Sovereign Bo and son Sire Castrello with his wife, Jenn Goicoechea.
