Two juvenile boys arrested for Long Beach burglary, vandalism series

Boys, between the ages of 12 and 13, were arrested after a month in a series of robbery, sabotage, and in some cases, car theft.

Police announced on Friday that the investigators were found and seized two of six incidental robbery suspects who are believed to be involved in at least six criminal incidents that extend from April 6 to 26.

In each case, Long Beach PD officials said the group had shattered the glass doors or corporate windows.

At least twice, the suspects used a stolen car to transport.

Investigators collected the following list of sites that the juvenile crew believe is responsible for damage:

  • 4/6/2025 – 5689 Paramount boulevard – broken door
  • 4/8/2025 – 4558 Atlantic Avenue – broken door, EBT Loss
  • 12/4/2025 – 6440 east of the Pacific Coast – a damaged window
  • 4/23/2025 – 6440 East Pacific Ocean Highway Coast – broken glass door, registration, receipt damage, and goods loss
  • 4/26/2025 – 5013 Sharq 2nd Street – damage to the window
  • 4/26/2025 – 5001 East Street 2nd Street – broken glass door, damage to records, various baked goods.

By talking to business owners, reviewing the monitoring clips and photographing additional evidence, the investigators have identified at least two suspects.

The boys were arrested on May 12 after the investigators served inspection orders in their homes.

Officers arrested the 13 -year -old, and they reserved him in the Long Beach City Prison on charges of commercial robbery, and possessed a stolen vehicle and a vacuum crime.

Although the 12 -year -old was not at home when the investigators arrived, he later handed over to the Public Safety Building and was booked for the commercial robbery and possessed a stolen vehicle.

Both children were released because they were events.

Police said this crime chain investigate continues, and that investigators will continue to work on the remaining suspects.

“These arrests should be a reminder that if you choose to engage in a criminal activity in our city, you will be responsible,” said the head of LBPD Wali Hebesh. “We are still committed to protecting our entire society and dealing with illegal behavior appropriately.”
