West Point, New York (AP) – President Donald Trump used the first speech to the military start in his second term on Saturday to congratulate West Point students on their academic and physical achievements while he was sharply deviating in politics, thanks to the American military force while he was proud of the state.
“In a few moments, you will become graduates at the most expensive military elite academy in the history of mankind,” Trump said at the ceremony at the Mishi Stadium. “You will become one of the greatest and most powerful army the world has ever known. I know, because I was rebuilt by this army, and I was rebuilt.
The Republican President, who was wearing the hat “made America a great again”, told the 1002 graduating students that the United States is the “most important country in the world”, breaking up his administration’s achievements and stressed that in the first of America the first spirit of the American army, which he called “the greatest combat power in the history of the world.”
Trump said: “We get rid of deviations and we focus our army on our basic mission: crushing America’s opponents, killing the enemies of America and defending our great American flag as it has not been defended before.” He later said that “the function of the American armed forces does not host clouds or the conversion of foreign cultures,” referring to the withdrawals on the military bases that the administration of former President Joe Biden has stopped after the republican criticism.
Trump said that the trainees were graduating in a “decisive moment” in the history of the army, as former political leaders criticized the leadership of the soldiers to “the Crusades to build the state to nations that do not want to do anything with us.” He said that he wiped the army of transgender ideas, “critical race theory” and the training courses called by division and political chat.
He said about the previous administrations: “They were subjected to the armed forces for all types of social projects and political reasons, while leaving our unburious borders and spoiling our arsenals to fight the wars of other countries.”
Several points during his speech on the football field on the campus of the Military Academy were unable to distinguish from a political discourse. Trump claimed that when the White House left in 2021, “We had no wars, we had no problems, and we only had success, we had an incredible economy.” He pointed out that he won all the seven statements of the November elections, on the pretext that these results gave him a “great mandate” and “it gives us the right to do what we want to do.”
But Trump also took several moments to admit the exact graduate achievements. Kadett called, Chris Verdogo, on the stage, noting that he had completed a march of 18.5 miles on a freezing night in January in just two hours and 30 minutes. He had a Lacrosse team in the Upper Association to be recognized. Trump also brought the football player in West Point, Prison Daily, to a lecture, praising his “steel” shoulder. Later on daily, it was used as an example of a case against sexually transformed women participating in women’s athletics.
In reference to the presidential traditions, Trump also recovered about half of the students of students who faced disciplinary violations.
“You could have done anything you wanted, and you could go anywhere,” Trump said later: “Writing your ticket to the best jobs in Wall Street or Silicon Valley will not be bad, but I think what you do is better.”
The president also faced several advice from graduate students, urged them to do what they love, great thinking, hard work, adhere to their culture, and maintain their faith in America and risk.
“This is the amazing time of change, and we do not need a professional officer and yes men?” Trump said. “We need patriots with courage, vision and spine.”
Trump closed his speech by inviting graduating students to “never surrender”, then he said he would leave to deal with matters involved in Russia and China.
“We will continue to win, and this country will continue to win, and with you, the job is easy,” he said.
Outside the campus directly, about thirteen demonstrators gathered before the ceremony and were waving mini -American flags. One of them carried the crowd a banner saying “Supporting our warriors of our warriors” and “stop discounts”, while others carried plastic buckets with the message: “Go Army Beat Fascism”.
Trump gave West Point to start in 2020, during the peak of the Covid-19s. The trainees urged the graduates to “not forget” the soldiers who fought a war on slavery during his statements, which came as a nation that was counted in the race after the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Trump also praised the history of the Military Academy and its famous graduates, including Douglas Mac Arthur and Dwight de Ezenhauer. Five years ago, the ceremony scrutinized because the American Military Academy forced the graduating students, who were at home due to Covid-19, to return to an area near a hot point.
Trump traveled to Tuscunusa, Alabama, earlier this month to speak to the graduation chapter at Alabama University. His statements are mixed standard standards and advice with political attacks against his predecessor, Democrat, Joe Biden, and contemplating the transgender athletes and lies in the 2020 elections.
On Friday, Vice President JD Vance spoke to the graduation chapter at the US Navy Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. In his remarks, Verse said that Trump is working to ensure that American soldiers were spreading with clear targets, rather than “unspecified tasks” and “open conflicts” in the past.
