Los Angeles (Kabc) – Tory Lanez was taken to the hospital after being stabbed on Monday by a California prison, where he is serving a 10 -year prison sentence to shoot the hip -hop Megan Yukk star in the feet.
Canadian rapper was attacked in the California Correctional Square at Tehachapi shortly before 7:30 am and was taken to the hospital in Kern County, according to the Ministry of Reforms and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
His condition was neither the extent of his injuries was not known immediately.
CDCR spokesman Pedro Calderon Michel said that prison staff responded immediately, called 911 and started medical assistance in Linz.
He said that the prison investigation unit and the Kern County attorney office were investigating.
The motivation for the attack was not immediately clear.
There were no other details immediately available.

In December 2022, Linz, 32, was convicted of his real name, Destar Peterson, with three crimes: the almost automatic firearm assault; There is an unregistered firearm in a car and emptying a firearm with serious neglect.

The judge rejected a request for a new trial from Laniz’s lawyers, who are resuming his conviction. They did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Megan recently claimed that Linz was annoying her from prison through alternatives, and in January a judge issued a preventive order until 2030, ordered him to stop any such harassment or any other contact.
