Lorenze often shares glimpses of her time with Paul online and has become a familiar presence on the ATP Tour, regularly accompanying her boyfriend to his matches. Paul, who is currently competing at the Madrid Open, defeated Brazil’s João Fonseca 7-6 (7), 7-6 (3) in the second round and Karen Khachanov 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 in the third round on Tuesday, Apr. 29.

Tommy Paul was doing well at the BNP Paribas Open until Daniil Medvedev ended his campaign in the fourth round. The American defeated compatriot Tristan Boyer 6-3, 6-1 in the second round and Cameron Norrie 6-3, 7-5 in the third. However, he couldn’t get past fifth seed Medvedev, who won 6-4, 6-0 in the fourth round.
Notably, Paul’s girlfriend, Lorenze, who is often seen with him on tour, also accompanied him to the Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells. The 27-year-old made the most out of her time in Indian Wells and documented the highlights on Instagram.
The post mainly featured her enjoying Paul’s third-round match against Norrie on Court 2. Lorenze looked elegant in a white dress, paired with white-framed sunglasses and a stylish bag.
Paul later lauded his girlfriend’s photodump with a queen emoji in the comments. As mentioned earlier, Paul has reached the fourth round of the Madrid Open, where he will face the fifth seed, Jack Draper.
Paul and Draper have met five times on tour, with the latter holding a 3-2 head-to-head advantage. Their most recent encounter came at the HSBC Championships last year, which the American won 6-3, 5-7, 6-4. Whoever prevails will face either Frances Tiafoe or Matteo Arnaldi in the quarterfinals.
