Tips for keeping dogs safe from coyotes in the Bay Area

(KON) – The regional parks in Sonoma Province said that The Koiotat is looking to feed the new waste from the hungry wolf wolf this spring, and residents of the Gulf region must take precautions to protect their dogs on long -distance walking paths and other places.

“Spring is in the air,” wrote the regional gardens in Sonoma Province on social media. “This means that the fathers of wolves are busy returning food to the new puppies and in the event of a maximum alert to the perceived threats. These threats sometimes include home dogs.”

Sonoma’s regional gardens have provided the following tips for avoiding Conflict with wolves.

While negative meetings are incredibly rare, here are some tips to help avoid conflict:

  • Keep your dogs on the wheel

Wolves may follow you to accompany their lands. If the near wolf approaches:

  • Pick up small dogs and children.
