Austin (KXAN) – Three things come in three times for Longhorns football.
Linebacker Anthony Hill JR. And Edge Colin Simmons for honoring the first team in the Walter Camp Presaason all-aerrica menu. The defensive back in Winstiks, Michael Tafi, fell a place in the second team. Texas joins Alabama, Clameson, Indiana, and Still STATE, as one of only five programs, with the choice of three players.
This is the second appearance of Hill in the Pressason All CAMP list in two seasons after it was called the second team before 2024. He led the back in Texas in Takes (103), and deals with the loss (16.5) and forced flop (4) last season.
Hill obtained a national recognition of his performance against Oklahoma in 2024, when he was chosen by Walter Camp National Defense for this week, a defensive player participating in SEC and collecting 11 games (seven individuals) against Sooners.

The Dahir player in the third year is a leader in the Longhorns team on the defensive side of the ball that many expect as a great choice in 2026 if it is announced by the American Football Association.
Simons has not lost any time making a name for himself as a new student with Texas. The brink of penetration has become the first Longorn to be chosen as a student of Sean Alexander for this year. All FBS Freshman led with nine total bags that ranked third in the history of one season program.
TAAFFE ranked second in the team in the total treatments (78), objections (2) and the separation of pass (10). The former defensive back got the All-MARICAN team from the Associated Press team in its fourth season with the Longhorns.
The Texas defense as a whole allowed the third in the lowest number of yards in the football game in the college last year.
