Westinster, Colorado (KDVR)-A group of parents requests answers from the owner of the concession of the Baskin Robbins Store for Ice Cream after their salaries are issued to their teenage children.
Brittany Garcia Fox31 told that she was proud that her 16 -year -old daughter wanted to get her first job and earn her own money.
“It was a big achievement,” she said.
Garcia showed the banks returned by the bank.
“I know that it can be treated like this, it is just a problem, I do not want it to go to the field of work, believing that this is how this will be forever.”
Another teenage employee working in Baskin-Robbins told Fox31 that she is looking forward to getting a salary.
She said, “It was really good to own my money and not need to pay my mother for everything.”
Fox31 told that while she got a salary, it was less than expected.
She said, “Over time, I started to need money for my car and to do things I want to do with my friends.”
Fox31 found that the Millet Dessrts company, is listed in a good position with the office of the Foreign Minister in Colorado, but seven complaints against it have been submitted to the Ministry of Labor since April 2025. Three have been closed now.
