A teenager was accused of death after an appeal attack outside the Santa Ana High School, who killed a 14 -year -old boy and left two others in the hospital.
The deadly accident occurred on May 7, with a battle between a group of adolescents in the parking lot at the school shortly before 3:30 pm
Three male students, between the ages of 14, 15 and 16, were stabbed during the violent fight. The 15 -year -old suspects and a 17 -year -old child fled from the scene.
All three victims were transferred to the hospital with stab wounds. The 14 -year -old, the family, has died as Armando Morales, as a result of his hospital wounds. The other two victims are expected to remain.
On Friday, Orange County Lawyer Office said Morales was stabbed in the heart.
The battle was among the students believed to be members of the competing gangs, The police told Orange County Register, Although the 14 -year -old Morales family was not a member of the gang and instead he was trying to defend his friend during the confrontation.
The police established an environment and began searching for the suspects who fled the area. The next day, accompanied by their parents, teenage children, who are brothers, surrendered themselves in the Santa Anna police station.
They were arrested on charges of murder and tried to kill and were transferred to the juvenile hall.
On Friday, the DA office announced He accused the 15 -year -old suspect of death and accused of assaulting a fatal weapon. The accusations against his 17 -year -old brother are still hanging.
Police told the OC newspaper, while noting that the 17 -year -old suspect had not used any weapons during the accident, that the knife used in the attack was not present.
Morales was a student at Santa Anna Secondary School, which friends and loved ones described as a cute and excited child. Diana Vasquiz said her daughter was a friend with Morales.
“When she returned home with her friends and discovered it, she was crying,” said Vazukez. “She was crying. She didn’t believe it. She said he was a really nice child.”
A temporary memorial was created to honor Morales by friends and family outside high school, where candles and souvenirs can be seen. He survived his parents and siblings.
The Santa Anna Unified School region issued a statement saying: “We are committed to providing a safe environment, care and support for all students and employees. We will continue to share updates when they are available. Thank you for your continuous support and mercy.”
All post -school activities were canceled after the deadly accident, and the boycott confirmed the presence of an increase in the police on the campus, as well as crisis consultants for those who need support.
The identities of the suspects have not been released due to the status of events. Investigators said they were investigating the mobile phone video captured by a witness who has shown parts of the fighting and seeking to get any additional clips that may exist.
