Thornton, Colorado (KDVR)-is 16 years old in detention and two other Harban after an attempt to steal armed theft near 104 Wordel Road Street in Thornton.
Police say that the suspects escaped from the stolen car and set out near a thick corn field, which sparked a search.
Police in Thornton responded for the first time a stolen car immediately after one o’clock, began as an argument in Aurora and ended in Thornton. Officers monitor something unusual in the area: a broken car misses a tire.
“The officers faced what they thought was originally an abandoned car, and then very quickly, they realized that there were individuals,” said Luciro, Lucero of Thornton Police.
Three people, according to the police, tried to go out for that. The officers used a hole maneuver, a tactic used to finish the match by causing the suspect’s car to take place and stop. Luciro says that the suspects have not been staying inside the car for a long time.
“There was a very short hunt, and one of the events was held,” he said.
Two others began running near the thick corn fields, making it difficult for officers to get a clear line, especially while it was dark outside.
The drones flew into the sky of the units and the K-9 swept the ocean to help research.
“After intensive search to the area around 104 and Riverdale, we could not locate it,” Lucero said. “Although this is not a daily thing in the city of Thornton, I think it is important wherever people are always awake when they drive their car. I think it is important, as you know, lock your doors. Be aware of your existence.”
Police still does not know whether the suspects are armed and say this seems to be a random crime. The officers say that the investigation extends to multiple judicial authorities and asks anyone who has a door -garden clips or advice for progress.
