Teddi Mellencamp has officially moved on. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was spotted in Encino, California, on Sunday enjoying a sun-soaked jog with her new boyfriend—marking the first public sighting of the pair together.
In photos published by Daily Mail on June 2, Teddi, 43, appeared close with her mystery man, whose name has not been publicly identified. The couple didn’t shy away from showing affection, with one snapshot capturing him sweetly adjusting Teddi’s blue baseball cap while wrapping his arms around her. In another image, he was seen planting a kiss on her cheek.
A source confirms, “[Teddi] is dating him [and is] happy.” The new romance comes just months after Teddi filed for divorce from husband Edwin Arroyave, 48, in November 2023.
The two were married for 13 years and share three children: daughters Slate, 12, Dove, 5, and son Cruz, 10.
Their split followed rumors that Mellencamp had engaged in an affair with her horse trainer, Simon Schroeder—allegations that sparked online controversy, particularly as Simon’s wife was reportedly pregnant at the time. According to a source who spoke with Daily Mail recently, the pair had put the brakes on their separation while Teddi battled brain cancer, with Edwin stepping up to care for her during the darkest moments.
But now that she’s reportedly out of the woods, their relationship is reaching its final chapter.
“Their divorce was on hold as Edwin was taking care of Teddi,” the insider revealed. “While Edwin is dedicated to continuing to help Teddi however he can in her recovery, they have decided that her illness is not enough to keep them together … Their marriage is over, and they want to … finalize it amicably and with much respect.”
The former couple, who share three children, had previously tried to keep things cordial amid their split, but this latest update makes it clear: there’s no turning back.
