Austin – on Sunday, a teacher in Taylor was awarded the Achievement Award during the Excellence Awards in Hibb in 2025.
“The Life Achievement Award revives teachers for more than 20 years of experience,” said party organizers.
Vicky RowThe advanced English language teacher at Taylor High School, $ 25,000 in cash and a $ 25,000 grant for her school.
The ceremony was held in the center of Austin, and hundreds of teachers and community leaders were attending, according to the organizers.
The celebration organizers said that 480,000 dollars were cash and granted to:
- Six teachers
- Two consultants
- Managers
- One early childhood facility
- One public school council
- Two school regions
“At a time when public school teachers face many challenges, it is extremely important to honor the unusual individuals who inspire the next generation of Texas. Their work not only changes their lives – it determines the future of our state,” said Wenyel Heron, First Vice President of Public Prosecutor for Public Affairs, Diversity and Environmental Affairs.
