Swimmer drowns despite lifesaving efforts at Lake Pueblo

Boeplo Province, Colorado (KXRM) – A man died after jumping into the water in Lake Boybelo without the survival jacket on Saturday, June 7, according to Colorado Parks and wildlife.

CPW reported that Rangers responded to CPR 911 from CPR in progress at Rock Creek Cove around 2 pm on Saturday. Reports indicated that a group was swimming and skiing in Cove when one of them jumped into the water, saying it was hot. Soon after, the subconscious extinguishes.

Put the close boats of the man’s body in his boat and turned CPR before calling the number 911.

CPW Rangers arrived and continued CPR while taking the boat to the northern boat slope. A helicopter landed a flight to life in the garden, but the man could not be saved.

“This death is under investigation, but it appears to be a tragic accident,” said Joe Stadterman, Lake Boeplo Park director. “We offer our condolences to the family and friends of this victim.”

This comes only one week after dead boats were found after the extinction of its boat. Stadterman said the death is “especially worrying” after all the efforts made by his team to increase awareness of water safety in the region.

“This is another tragic loss of life,” he said. It emphasizes the message we confirm to re -create responsibility and wear a life preservation at or near the water.
