Suspect shot by deputies near West Hollywood shopping mall

A suspect was shot by deputies at a crowded intersection near a commercial center in West Hollywood, which prompted a large closure on the street on Saturday night.

A short time before 6 pm, Los Angeles Sharif’s provinces responded to the House Violence In the 7100 Bloc of Santa Monica Street.

Although the details are still limited, a woman at the scene of the accident told Rachel Minitov of KTLA that her ex -boyfriend had attacked her and then followed her in a nearby alley. And that is when a passerby called the police.

The authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and while speaking to the victim, the suspect monitored near Santa Monica Street and La Brie Street. They approached the man and tried to hold him, but he resisted and followed a physical fight.

During the confrontation, the suspect was shot by the deputies. He was transferred to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his stem and remains in a stable condition. LASD did not provide more details about the conditions before the shooting.

The roads were stopped near the 7100 block from Santa Monica Street, which includes a home for the West Hollywood mall, to traffic and pedestrians for more than six hours as a large law enforcement surrounded by the region for investigation.

“I just heard a group of helicopters and siren warnings, then I decided to go out and see what is going on,” said Ryan Edler, a resident of West Hollywood. “It is a huge way to walk and public transport. It will be greatly affected by this.”

No deputies were injured in the shooting. LASD officials ask the public to avoid the area as the roads remain closed late on Saturday night.

“The more a deputy occurred, the longer the vice of the honorable deputies of Los Angeles, and a person begins in a statement,” Lasd said in a statement.

There were no further details with the case remaining under investigation.
