(Krona) – The Davis Police Administration is investigating a shooting in the community garden on Saturday afternoon, which was held during a large gathering on “Al -Nuzha”. The police said three people were shot. The suspect is still loose and no weapons were recovered at the crime scene.
Davis police said that the accident occurred at 2:58 pm when many officers who were patrolling in the area heard “what appeared to be several gunshots coming from inside the garden.”
Upon his arrival, the police performed three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two of these victims are the events and residents of Davis and Sacramento. The third victim is a 24 -year -old individual. All three individuals were treated at the scene and were taken to a nearby hospital. Police said the injuries appear to be a threat to life.
Police said the event’s pioneers were fleeing in opposite directions when the shooting broke out. Since then the park has been cleared by the police.
Davis police said there is a huge law enforcement in the region because of its natural procedures for “Al -Nuzha Day”. Investigators remain at the scene.
“This is an uncomfortable event for us, this particular situation,” said Lieutenant Dan Beck from the Davis Police Department. “During the eighteen years, we had nothing like that. We are doing our best to maintain the integrity of this society during this event. It is supposed to be a fun event for families, and I think it is still. This is once. Our officers were there quickly. In fact, we had officers at the scene when the accident occurred.
The University of California Davis has released a previous update on its website, saying: “The Davis Police Department is currently present at the scene of the accident in Community Park, 201 East 14th St.
The police said the circumstances and motivation surrounding the shooting were not clear. There may be additional victims, and the police said they would monitor local hospitals for patients associated with the accident.
There is no suspicious description at this time. “We call it the Information Fireflower,” added the Lieutenant. “You have a lot of people who are afraid and contacted the police, and we get a lot of conflicting information that all came immediately. This is very primary and what our investigators and officers do there is really to find an identical indication of what happened already and who was involved.”

The University of California Davis is saddened by the news that individuals who enjoy a day in the community community in Davis were shot on Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred as thousands of people enjoyed the annual picnic day led by students at the university on the campus, which is more frustrated. The celebrations on the campus ended when the news broke out about the shooting.
Like everyone, the University of California Davis is learning more Davis Police, which leads this investigation. We hope for a complete recovery for those individuals who have been injured. We are grateful to respond from the Davis Police Department and other respondents at the scene, including police departments and fire extinguishing at the University of California. We check our students to determine whether any of those who were in the Community Park community today needed support.
The day of the picnic is a day when tens of thousands of visitors join us while we celebrate our individuals, programs and our society. Our hearts come out to our students who organize such a tremendous effort on the campus, and all in the city of Davis, where activities often continue.
