The police in Huntington Beach lost his life early on Saturday morning after the chase ended in a violent accident.
Huntington Beach police officers were sent to the highway in the Pacific Coast and Brockhurt Street at approximately 12:50 am on reports of a driver’s maneuver wrongly and operating the red lights, according to the ministry in a media statement.
Ultimately, officers have identified the car near Beach Boulevard and Talbert Avenue – about six miles away – and they tried to stop the driver; However, they failed to return and began to chase.
“The suspect’s vehicle continued in the Beach area and Warner Street, where another car was hit,” HBPD said in the media statement. “Then the suspected vehicle collided with a high speed rate.”
Police said that the driver of the car was not injured and refused to transfer to the hospital.
However, the suspect surrendered to their injuries at the scene, despite life -saving measures from the first respondents. No details have been launched by their identity immediately.
No officers were injured during the chase. The investigation of the accident is dealt with by the California Highway patrol.
