Robert Broadnax lives in Steamboat and shared with Fox31 that he was a 12 -year -old colleague and best friends.
“He is the most generous and gentle man. He was a husband first and always talking about his family,” Broadnax explained. “He really loves Chris Stableton, so we used to see Chris Streamon in Mile Hi.”
But now it will not happen next month as planned.
To celebrate Independence Day, the Najjar family was visiting my father Malry in Hunt, Texas.
Broadcasts said: “At about four in the morning, they woke up to the ascending water, went to the roof, and unfortunately, the water came on the roof and they all were washed away in the Guadalobi River,” said Broadnax.
Fighting to survive from the accelerated water, the family has been separated. Mirage, Malary escaped clinging to a tree and was later rescued. The five -year -old Dalton survived the last swimming lessons.
“Dalton, in some way, I don’t know if the ceiling of the cabin was, but it was found as it was floating in the river on a piece of the ceiling he must have that the last Brian’s words were,” Dalton Swim “, shared Broadcasts.
Dramaticly, Brian did not survive, his 3 -year -old daughter and Malawi’s parents.
“It is hanging there,” said Broadcasts. “It is clear that it is destroyed. I think it is trying to focus on being strong for Dalton because it has a lot of questions.”
Dalton performed three surgeries after being torn in the leg, but he would completely recover. Malawi has swallowed a lot of flood water, which has led to bacterial infections, but he was released from the hospital since then.
Broadnax shared that Brian loved his family more than anything else and took every opportunity to take pictures and show them. He adds that Brian and Malwi are embodied in true love, after they were together since the eighth grade.
“It is one thing to lose your husband, but to lose your husband, daughter and parents all at the same time was a tragedy that was a very heavy load.”
Although he is still shocked by the loss of his best friend, Broadnax ascends to help with heavy load by creating a donation campaign to help medical, living and funeral expenditures. He has already received support flow, Broadnax hopes that Coloradans will answer society. If you want to help support the Najjar family, Click here.
