Stassi Schroeder has always been unafraid to share the most intimate parts of her life with her fans. From her early days on Vanderpump Rules to her recent return on Vanderpump Villa, the reality TV veteran has made a name for herself by embracing transparency. And now, with her latest role in the second season of Vanderpump Villa, Stassi is giving her audience even more of the real, raw moments they crave.
In an interview with StyleCaster, Stassi Schroeder opens up about her life since being let go from Vanderpump Rules, her unexpected return to the reality TV world, and her exciting new project with Hulu. What stands out the most is Stassi’s commitment to being true to herself and her family, even when the cameras are rolling.
“I’ve been on reality TV since I was 16 years old. It’s all I know,” Stassi explains. “I know the type of reality TV that people want to watch is real. What’s going on in your life? It’s the real conversations you’re having in private.”
And that’s exactly what Vanderpump Villa is about—real moments, unfiltered and authentic. For Stassi, sharing her personal life with her audience isn’t just a job; it’s a responsibility.

“It’s all about being real,” she adds. “When Beau and I decided to do this, we were like, ‘Yeah, we have to be real about everything. Otherwise, we shouldn’t be in this line of work.’”
The second season of Vanderpump Villa, which debuted on Hulu on April 25, delves deeper into Stassi Schroeder’s personal life than ever before, particularly her relationship with her husband, Beau Clark. While viewers have always gotten a glimpse into her love life, this season takes it to a new level.
Asked if she expected to share so much of her relationship on camera, Stassi admits that while it was a big decision, it was ultimately the right one.
“I’m proud of the things we were talking about, because I don’t see our dynamic represented that much in other shows,” she says. “And if it is, it’s looked down upon if the man is more the stay-at-home father and takes care of the household and the mom is the breadwinner. We’re both proud of our lives and the family and life we’ve created together. That should be fucking represented.”
This open and honest portrayal of her marriage challenges traditional narratives, and Stassi is adamant that it’s an important conversation to have. The couple’s dynamic is something she hopes will resonate with viewers, especially those who may see themselves in similar situations.
But the journey to Vanderpump Villa was unexpected. After Stassi Schroeder was let go from Vanderpump Rules, she remained close with Lisa Vanderpump, a relationship that continued to thrive behind the scenes.
“Lisa and I have stayed in touch for a really long time because of my kid and her grandson,” Stassi shares. “I would go to his birthday parties. I would see her at different places every now and then and run into her.”

It was during one of these encounters that Lisa presented Stassi Schroeder with a tempting opportunity: “Then she came to me, and she was like, ‘What do you think about going to Italy? You wouldn’t have to do literally anything, but have fun. You can bring your children, you can bring Beau. You just have to snoop and live your best life.’”
That offer led to Stassi’s return to reality TV, but it’s far from the only exciting project in the works for her. Alongside Vanderpump Villa, Stassi is also gearing up for another unscripted show with Hulu, which has been described as a comedic half-hour docuseries titled Stassi Says. While details about the show remain under wraps, Stassi is enthusiastic about what’s to come.
“I want to talk about that so bad. Without saying too much, Villa was the perfect way to reintroduce reality TV back into my life,” she teases. “I can’t wait until the day comes where I can finally say all the things.”
For Stassi, this opportunity wasn’t handed to her. It was something she worked hard to create. “I made that opportunity. That was not handed to me in any way. When I pitched my show to Hulu, it was just an easy, ‘Oh, well, Lisa’s doing this. Would love to have you.’”
Stassi’s drive and determination are evident, and as she continues to forge her own path, it’s clear that she’s on the verge of even bigger things.
