Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, attended the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles’ Outfits
Owens and Biles certainly stuck out with their outfits. Biles was seen wearing a blue mini dress with a white collar and a flowing blue train, whereas Owens wore a coordinating white suit with a fur cap and black cane. This was done to fit the “Superfine” theme for 2025, which drew inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book, “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.”
The married couple was also seen on Saturday, May 3, at the Kentucky Derby, donning interesting outfits. They were seen wearing coordinated lavender outfits, which included Biles wearing a wide-brimmed fascinator and Owens wearing a lavender fedora.
At the 2025 Met Gala, Biles was also asked about pregnancy and her and Owens’ desire to have children together.
“I’ve always wanted to be a mother, have kids, and just like [Owens], he’s always wanted to be a dad, so it’s just really exciting,” Biles said, per Daily Mail.
She shut down any possible pregnancy rumors, though, saying she wasn’t pregnant.
‘I am not pregnant, I never was pregnant, therefore I never had a baby,’ she said. ‘Please stop asking me and falling for AI.’

Other NFL Players at the 2025 Met Gala
Met Gala 2025 brought out more NFL talent than just Owens.
Notable NFL players appeared at the event, including Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and his wife, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and Eagles running back Saquon Barkley.
Burrow wore a blueish-gray tailored suit and ice-blue sunglasses in a sleek, straightforward look.
As for Super Bowl 59-winning quarterback Hurts, he was seen wearing a black velvet suit, a white shirt, a black tie, and a black beret.
Jefferson was wearing perhaps the most eye-popping outfit, an oversized grey suit, a thick black tie, and a flower broach. This outfit epitomized what the night was all about—expressing oneself.
Hurts’ teammate Barkley wore a relatively minimalist suit styled by Joshua McPhearson. Barkley also shouted out Thome Browne, a designer known for their high-end clientele, including athletes like Barkley and previously LeBron James, Zendaya, Cardi B, and Janelle Monáe.
