Lovers loved mourning for a 21 -year -old woman who was killed in a Volurton crash.
On April 12, Angy Velasquez left a gathering that morning and was sitting in the passenger seat while her boyfriend led them to the house.
Her boyfriend, who was driving the Tesla sedan, was traveling west on OrangeHorpe Street when he was running a red light near the South State College Street intersection at 6:48 am, according to the Fulrton Police Department.
His fast car cut a Toyota truck before hitting face to face on the side of the Orange County County bus.
Velaskiz killed the effect. Her boyfriend was transferred to the hospital, where he died the next day. His identity has not been launched by the pathologist’s office.
“Angie was 21 years old,” said Stefania Kabanas, family friend. “It was very small, very beautiful, very bright.”
Velaskiz was also a 5 -year -old young mother.
“She had a lot to live for him, which is very unfortunate because now he will not be able to see his mother growing with him,” Kabanas said. “This suddenly happened, so we are just trying to take it day after day. We were broken about this loss. It was a very special person for us. She was a mother, sister and friend, and this is a very destructive thing.”
Friends and community members meet to support the Velasquez family during this difficult time. Kabana said Jeddah Velaskiz died recently, leaving her family with a tragic loss.
On Saturday, loved ones hosted a fundraising campaign in Santa Anna to raise money for funeral expenses. Kabanas said that the son of Velaskiz would receive additional support during this time.
“Everyone is trying to support her family,” she said. “She has a large family and a great support system, so her son is very honest. Everyone will be there for him as much as possible, but she is a great loss for him because he is at the end of the day, this is his mother.”
Other donations will be held on Sunday, May 4, when food will be served in a house at 813 Plymouth Place in Anheim.
The accident is still under investigation. Five passengers were transferred on the OCTA bus to the injured hospitals with slightly. The bus driver and Toyota driver were not infected.
It is unclear whether alcohol or drugs are factors in collision.
