Sonoma County corrections deputy, 22, dies from possible fall

(Crohn)-22-year-old deputy died in the Sonoma County office on Thursday.

The paramedics were summoned to the 4000 Taylor Street in Santa Rosa at approximately 6:50 pm and found that Kyle Johnson’s deputy was fatal. While the authorities suspect that they may have fallen from her horse, the cause of her death is currently unknown.

“At this time, it is not clear whether the fall is the cause of her death or if a medical event occurred,” said Sonoma Sharif County Office. “The exact cause of death is still under investigation.”

Lights and warningsThe application of local law was accompanied by Johnson’s body to the Sonoma County Office in a procession similar to the funeral. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of Johnson’s death.

“This tragic loss is deeply felt by Sharif’s office, the loved ones of Johnson’s reformist deputy, and the entire Sonoma County community,” said Sonoma Sharif. “We ask your sympathy, patience and support as we grieve together. Please keep her family, friends and colleagues in your thoughts during this difficult time.”
