‘Somebody’s got to do it’: Bay Area rescue crews deployed to Texas

(Crohn) – The Gulf region sets are located in Texas to help search and rescue operations, as more than 160 people are still missing after deadly floods.

Harold Shapilhuman, retired Fire Department head of the Menlo Park, says that the K-9s who has just returned from the explosion of fireworks in Yulu province is now in Texas.

They say they are very useful in these types of huge research and recovery efforts – and there are not many of them across the country.

“With regard to natural disasters, this may be the worst, in terms of children concerned,” says Shabelman.

Search and rescue sets around the clock in central Texas, where they move through the rubble to find missing people from catastrophic floods. California sends 18 team members to help the Gargantuan mission.

“There is an hour that beats the conditions [of] Shapilhuman adds responsibility for the search window if you will.

Schapelhouman is one of the founding members of the California 3 (CA-TF3) work and rescue team with high skills that was responding to natural disasters for more than 30 years.

On Tuesday afternoon, the team watched multiple people, K-9s from Menlo Park Fire and Mountain View Fire.

“These animals are amazing as they can do, but in the end it comes to covering an area once, if not twice, to make sure that no one is or that everyone has found – this is the main component of this whole thing.”

Assistant Head of the Ministry of Fire in Auckland Sean Lavan is also in Texas.

“He is a very experienced person, a high training coach, recognized at the national level of his work on research and rescue work in urban areas,” says Michael Hunt, Director of Information General in the Oakland Fire Department. “He went there to be a safety officer for the teams that are deployed in these devastating floods.”

Schapelhouman explains what the crews will face in this huge process.

“We are at that point where the water has disappeared, it may still be muddy so that people can from the mobile phone,” says Shabelman. “They did the network. Basically, you want to set it. You don’t want to repeat the search area.”

While it says it is an emotional tax imposition of these crews, it is a decisive function on the way to recovery.

“It is important because it finds uninhapple people … for their residues. Families are allowed to close, which I think is important,” says Shabelman. “It is difficult, it’s always difficult to be in one of these events. It is one of those things that you don’t want to go to, but this is what we do, and someone has to do this.”

There is the possibility of additional additions in the search area in Texas. California Governor Gavin New Roosom can send additional resources as needed.
