The police said that in the hospital, Servins showed the signs of poisoning, although it claimed that the officers “accused her.”

Servanz denied being under the effect, and on Friday, the office of the Sacramento County lawyer copied her claim and refused to file charges.

“The results of toxicology were negative for any measureable amount of alcohol or drugs,” the DA office said in a statement. “We have reviewed all the evidence provided, including police reports, witnesses of witnesses and laboratory results. Based on our moral duty and the burden of proof in a criminal trial, the Sacramento County Office rejects any charges in this case.”

Servanz publicly did not comment on the announcement of the prosecutors before publication, but the police issued a statement of the Capitol correspondent in the Ktla Eytan Wallace “to provide clarity while maintaining transparency and respect for all concerned.”

The statement defended the actions of the officers and explained that Servanz refused to conduct a field sobriety test, although he also confessed to the controversial nature of the accident.

“The Sacramento Police Administration has received several public records requests about this incident,” the statement said. “We will issue quick response documents today to the initial requests and we will handle the remaining requests as soon as possible.”
