Eugenie Bouchard recently enjoyed a “sibling vacation” with her brother, William, in the British Virgin Islands, which drew a reaction from Sloane Stephens.
Bouchard was born as one of a set of twins to Julie and Michel Bouchard. She has a twin sister, Beatrice, who is six minutes older, along with two younger siblings: a sister named Charlotte and her brother William. All the siblings are named after members of the British Royal Family.

During their trip, Bouchard shared a video montage on social media featuring her and William kayaking, playing tennis, swimming, golfing, partying, and more. In response, Stephens jokingly commented that she wanted to see their “kayak footage” from the vacation. William also posted several pictures and videos from their time in the British Virgin Islands.

“this is your sign to do a sibling vacation 🥺,” Bouchard captioned her Instagram post.
Reacting to the Bouchard siblings’ vacation, Stephens jokingly commented that she wanted to see their “kayak footage” from the vacation.
“Why is there no capsized kayak footage? 😂,” Stephens commented.
William also posted several pictures and videos from their time in the British Virgin Islands.
“When you chilled the entire vacay and then need to pack every activity in the last day @geniebouchard,” William captioned his Instagram story.
“Time for activities! @geniebouchard,’ he added.
“ear plugs at the party,” William wrote.

On the tennis side of things, Stephens’ last competition of the 2025 season was at the Abierto Tampico, a WTA 125 tournament in Mexico. There she was eliminated in the first round by Sahaja Yamalapalli. She participated in only one Grand Slam tournament in 2025, the Australian Open, where she lost in the first round to the eventual runner-up, Aryna Sabalenka.
Meanwhile, Bouchard took part in only three tennis tournaments this year: the 2025 Hall of Fame Open, the Citi DC Open, and the Canadian Open. In Washington, D.C., she entered the doubles event with Clervie Ngounoue, before losing in the first round to the duo of Venus Williams and Hailey Baptiste.
At the WTA 125 tournament in Newport, Rhode Island, Bouchard lost in the first round to Anna Rogers in the singles draw. In the doubles event, she teamed up with Olivia Lincer and advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to Makenna Jones and Rogers.
The former World No. 5 played her final professional WTA match at the 2025 Canadian Open, losing in the second round to Belinda Bencic. Despite retiring from tennis, Bouchard remains active on the professional Pickleball tour. In 2026, she will compete in the fourth edition of the Pickleball Slam alongside Anna Leigh Waters, where they will face the pair of Andre Agassi and James Blake.
