(Crohn)-The Oakland Police Administration said that the driver suspected of a fatal collision running from the area escaped from the area after he hit one of the infantry walking in the corridor. Now, family and friends are demanding the victim to justice.
OPD said that the officers responded to the accident on July 7, just before 10 pm, at the Avenues 82 and Bancroft intersection.
Auckland police discovered the injured victim at the scene, and they were transferred to a nearby hospital where they died later.
OPD said: “During the investigation, the officers learned that while the pedestrian was walking in the perceived corridor, it was a vehicle approaching the intersection in the west on Pancruf Street
The police did not issue the suspect’s description. It has not been determined whether alcohol or drugs have played a role in collision.
The victim was identified by her family as 59 -year -old Rose Marie Banks, who said she lived in the area because of the accident. There was a memorial that was held on Wednesday at the scene of the accident, as family and friends released balloons and doves on their honor.
Banka Kichia Crohn 4 told the family that the family became eloquent after she had not heard about it for several days before learning its tragic death.
“This was really devastating to know that this was my cousin who was beaten and left on the street like a dog,” said Kishia Banks.
“She was a real person of his mandate,” Green Green’s friend, friendly, said. “She loved her family; she loved to be very friendly. You made you feel very welcomed, very frank; she was everywhere about a wonderful person.”
The bank’s family calls the driver to advance with awareness of what they call an increase in reckless driving in the region. Family members said that she lost her husband eight months ago.
