‘She made a difference’: Vigil honors beloved science teacher killed in Weld County crash

Lasalle, COLO (KDVR) – North Colorado community is getting more mourning for the loss of a beloved teacher after he claimed a violent accident.

Christine Schwarrs, 57, has taught science at North Valley Intermediate School in LaSal. She was killed when another vehicle crashed, and she may escape the law, her car last week.

On Friday evening, dozens of friends, family members, colleagues and students at Lasalle Park gathered to get a grip in candlestick to honor the teacher’s memory for a long time.

Her husband, Chris Schwarrs, said: “You know, I hope you will go through life as a person and affect people – and the man, I really did it.”

Christine was known for more than her lessons in the classroom. Leave her warmth and willingness to listen permanently on her students.

“Any student can go up and talk about their problems,” Chris participated. “If they faced a problem, they could not talk to their parents – or maybe they wanted to know how to talk to their parents on this topic – she was always there to help them. At the end of the day, you will be like,” I need to go home, “You need to leave.”

On the days of her death, the flow flow was fixed.

Chris said: “Some teachers have stopped having a few dinner, talking and laughing only, and you know cry,” Chris said.

North Valley intermediate school canceled the classroom for several days and brought sad advisors to support students and employees.

The protest on Friday, which was largely organized by students, was a testimony on Christine’s influence on the lives of young people.

“The children are the ones who put this,” Chris said. “Children wanted to get a vigil.” “I affected these children. I have made a difference in their lives.”

While her existence is missing, the loved ones of Christine’s spirit say in the people who touched them.

“All you will do in life, just do it correctly,” said Chris. “That’s what everything was, do the right thing in life, and I always tell each other that you love them.”
