Shamea Morton’s Mom BLASTS Porsha & Ms. Diane, Calls Them ‘Jealous Devils’ With No Home Training!
Shamea Morton is breaking her silence following a rocky first season as a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta—and she’s coming with apologies, tears, and family tension in tow.
In a heartfelt YouTube video shared after the explosive Season 16 reunion aired in full, Shamea addressed the drama that dominated her time on the show. Most notably, she spoke out about the breakdown of her longtime friendship with Porsha Williams, which became a major storyline throughout the season.
Throughout the season, Shamea was criticized for airing her grievances about Porsha to other cast members, including Drew Sidora, Angela Oakley, Cynthia Bailey, and Kelli Ferrell. One of the more heated moments came when Brit Eady alleged that Shamea showed her a private text message exchange between her and Porsha.
Shamea has denied showing the messages, but Porsha said the content Brit described matched things she had privately told Shamea—causing her to believe Brit over her former best friend.
The drama didn’t stop with the cast. In the YouTube video, Shamea’s mother joined her to offer support—and stirred the pot even more. While Shamea fought back tears, her mother criticized the Season 16 cast, calling the women “ratchet” and claiming they lacked the upbringing her daughter received.
“She was raised right,” her mother said, adding that the other women didn’t seem to follow the teachings of their parents. She went on to say that people overtalk Shamea because they’re “embarrassed and scared of their truths coming out.”
While no names were mentioned, fans immediately speculated that the comments were directed at Porsha and her mother, Ms. Diane. The tension escalated further when Shamea’s mom directly responded to a reunion remark made by Ms. Diane, who warned, “You’ve got to watch the dog that brings the bone,” suggesting Shamea had been stirring the pot.
Shamea’s mother didn’t hold back, calling Diane’s words “jealous and stupid,” and even went as far as to refer to Ms. Diane—and by extension, Porsha—as “the devil.”
Despite the emotionally charged video, Shamea made it clear that she regrets how some things played out and wanted to take accountability for her part. While she didn’t elaborate on where things currently stand with Porsha, the message was clear: she’s aware of the damage done and is trying to move forward.
Bravo has yet to announce the official cast for Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but sources allege that a well-known restaurateur and a former Love & Hip Hop cast member will be joining, while Kenya Moore is reportedly not returning.
