San Francisco (Kron) – starting on Tuesday, travelers at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will not need to remove their shoes at security checkpoints. This change is part of the new transport security security policy (TSA) that is implemented at selected airports throughout the country.
The Ministry of Internal Security provided this change in politics, noting the technological progress and a multi -layer security approach as reasons behind the decision.
The new policy aims to simplify waiting times while maintaining the safety of passengers.

Another traveler, REEM Sharif, expressed his satisfaction with change, with a highlight of the comfort of not having to remove shoes while acidity and children management.
Despite the change in SFO, other Gulf airports such as San Jose and Auckland continue to apply shoe removal at security checkpoints.
