Telman Tillaman took the Emmy home early for the distinguished supporter actor in the drama series for its role as a Melchic in the Apple TV+ “Severance” series.
His victory achieved history because he is the first black actor to win the 77 -year -old program.
Tillaman defeated his “perpetrator” colleague Zak Sherry and John Tortoro, “Paradise” James Marsen, Walton Gugs and Jason Isaac of “The White Lotus”.
He gave an emotional speech dedicated to his history of this event, his mother.
She said on the stage: “Remember what you want to remember.
“Mama, I was there for me when no one was, and no one will appear.
Your love remains with me, and this is for you, “shout.” Thank you for the academy. I am full. I am modest. I am honored. As Mama says, “Stand, look at God!”
In August, actor Melfin Robert of KTLA 5 told his mother that his mother was “useful” in his success as an actor.
“You told me that I could do this regardless of what, to pursue my dreams,” I explained in Ktla 5 Morning News. “This really kept me standing on his feet at wrong guidance or disappointment and rejection, which has a lot of work.”
He led “Severance” emmys with most nominations, with 27 in total.
