Several bars denied suspected DUI driver before downtown San Jose crash, says witness

San Jose, California (Crohn) – just one day before the celebrations of San Jose Pride, a suspect driver shattered by infantry barriers and criticized in a building near gay bar in the center of San Jose.

On Thursday night, the cell phone shots showed the shattered car in a building on the post -street street, causing the leakage of broken windows and water from the walls.

San Jose Police says that the male and passenger driver is very drunk and suffered from serious injuries.

Post Street in the center of San Jose is known as gay bars. Starting on Friday, post Street is closed for the fiftieth annual celebrations of Silicon Valley, but preparations were not affected.

“It is a simple setback,” says Jonathon Esbaraza, the event coordinator at Splash Bar San Jose.

Esparza witnessed the accident and said that the driver and the passenger were very drunk, and she refused many bars – including him – allowing them to enter.

Esperaza added: “These multiple collisions. We knew at that point, especially the shepherds here in the street, were afraid at that time because we knew at that moment, they had no great intentions in this street.”

The deep grooves that the car left in the sidewalk, including in the colored street mural, which were appointed for its great revelation on Friday.

Nathan Svoboda, head of the most institutional project, is one of the groups behind the start of pride. He says the damage will not hide the celebration.

“He is a teacher, so we are vigilant,” said Svoboda. “We are a society that has embraced many different challenges, including this year – members of our society, especially our transient society. Our society can flourish between any circumstances that we may face.”

Esparza repeats the Svoboda message, saying that flexibility is what the LGBTQ community is famous for.

“We are collecting the first Block party for the entertainment area in San Jose and we make history,” said Esparza. “Regardless of yesterday’s incident, it is still safe to come to the post -street street and you are still able to be when you come on our street.”

San Jose Police says they are investigating this incident as the only suspected identity document.
