(Crohn) – The Santa Rosa Police Department said an accident about the driver’s vehicle that was withdrawn soon that it escalated into an attack on an officer by a driver whose registration has ended for more than six years.
SRPD said that the accident occurred on Tuesday at 3:59 pm when one of the officers was carrying out a car park in the 1900 building from Santa Rosa Street. The police said that the officer was working with the suspect for several weeks to help bring the driver’s vehicle registration, but he started withdrawing when he discovered that no progress in compliance with the registration had occurred.
