((Crohn– A man from Santa Rosa was sentenced to 10 years in prison on May 6 to try to crush two elderly as he was armed with a butcher and stabbed a third person on ATMs at a shopping center in Santa Rosa in 2023.
The crime boom began when the 42 -year -old Elijah Beck tried to raise an elderly woman in KnifePoint in a car park in Santa Square on Santa Rosa IV Street, according to a statement issued by the lawyer of Sonoma Carla Rodriguez on Monday.
“Beck threatened to kill an elderly woman who was sitting in her SUV,” says a statement from the Sonoma Provincial Office. “Beck carried a large butcher in his hand, while the victim ordered his car and threatened to kill her.”
Beck continued to threaten the woman as she arrived at the window of her open driver and retreated with a knife, the DA office said. Then the man stabbed the woman’s framework and put his eyes on another victim.
Da office said: “He watched the victim after that, while Beck approached a noble man who was making a deal in the ATM in the same shopping center.” “Beck approached the man and pointed his knife on his chest.”
Beck set out on the man’s chest with a knife. The man turned at the right moment, and paid the knife in his arm instead of his chest, the DA office said. Beck then turned the knife to the elderly security guard who withdrew in a car and was approaching Beck with a stick.
“You are not frightened by the goalkeeper,” said the DA office. “Instead, he went after the elderly guard with his knife. Many people grabbed, including the victim of the stabbing, shopping carts and other things to protect the guard from Beck.”
When the keys to the guard are discovered in ignition, Beck tried to jump into the car and driving. His plans were thwarted when a team of passers -by joined the battle.
“While a man shocked a shopping vehicle at the door of the open driver, she entered the victim of stabbing the rear seat, found a laptop computer in the car, and used the tape to install Beck’s head to the comfort of the seat.”
Beck faded from the tape and got out of the car with a knife in his hand when an officer in the Santa Rosa police department arrived at the scene and took Beck at the gunpoint. BECK was seized in Sonoma Province Prison and was charged with two charges of trying to supervise, attack a fatal weapon, criminal threats, abuse of the elderly, and the use of a knife while committing the above -mentioned crimes.
The jury found that Beck is guilty of all charges after a two -week trial.
“The prolonged prison sentence in this case is completely justified by the wrongful behavior of the defendant,” said Rodriguez after Beck’s conviction. “The victims were at risk, and no one predicted the prediction of such a series of crimes in the parking square in the supermarket. Thank God, many members of society were detained by Mr. Beck before he could continue to get it elsewhere. I hope that the prison sentence will help provide a degree of closure to the victims.”
