Santa Clara Co., Alameda Co. alert residents of measles exposure

(KON) – Santa Clara Province of Public Health and Public Health Department in Santa Cleally Province is issued a list of vulnerable sites. This comes after a very positive person testing very infectious diseases after returning from an international flight, “including traffic through an American airport where a person may be exposed to class,” according to both provinces.

The officials said the person was not transferred to the hospital and is currently isolated at home.

The public health agency will hold a joint media conference on Friday, May 30, at 9:30 am, “Health officials will discuss prevention and vaccination measures and steps that the public must take if they are in any of the sites on the dates and times referred to,” according to a press statement.

The last of the measles was reported in a resident of Santa Clara in 2019.
