(Krona) – A man was gone on to walk his dog in the San Landro neighborhood and killed him earlier this month. On Friday, the investigating judge’s office at the Allamida County Office set the victim as Ryan M. Christie, 47, from San Leandro.
Christie was walking his dog on the morning of June 14th along the Euclid Street near the fourteenth East Street when he was shot at the back, according to the San Leandro Police Department. The officers found him that he did not respond to the sidewalk before 8:30 am with the dog who is still driving his hand.
The deceased Christie was pronounced at the scene. The dog was not hurt.
In the aftermath of the killing, Lieutenant SLPD Abi Ting Kron4 told the investigators to talk to the neighbors and collect the security video in an attempt to get to know the Kristi killer.
“From all appearances, it seems that he was walking in the dog,” Ting said at the time. “Of course, our investigators still collect everything.”
As of Friday, no other developments have been launched in the murder investigation of the public. This is the first murder in the city in 2025.
People who work and live in a place near they have seen non -detained people hanging around the region, but they have never been such a violent crime.
“This is a really quiet neighborhood,” Liliana Honorto, a resident of the region, told Kron4. “Nothing happened like this before.”
The authorities said that there is no indication of a constant threat to society.
