San Francisco (Crohn) – For the first time in recent years San Francisco International Film Festival He returned to a full event for 11 days.
The mayor of SF Daniel Lori and former House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi attended the opening night in Breast. It is the 68th year of the festival and includes more than 150 films from more than 50 countries. Several film makers appeared in the Gulf area throughout the event, which lasts about two weeks.
“Arts and culture is what drives San Francisco, it is always always, and the SFFILM festival is part of our fabric,” Lori said.
It is not just new films shown, the older title movies are included in this year’s schedule along with the greeting of famous directors like Chris Columbus.
One of the main themes that cinema pioneers will notice is stories coming at any age, which leads to a home that does not stop growing. But the organizers say that returning to the longest schedule gave them more space to be creative in this year.
“One of the naturally developed themes is more midnight content, and darker and psychological excitement films with a slightly more violent tin,” explained by programming director Jesse Ferbanks.
The SFFILM Festival lasts until April 27 with displays in theaters throughout San Francisco and outside in Berkeley.
