ASAN (KXAN) – Round Rock Police Administration is looking for two suspects after an attempt to kidnap the child earlier this week at Round Rock, according to a journalist from the agency on Friday.
Around 4:30 pm on Tuesday, the officers responded to a report on a man who tried to “seduce children in a car” in 1700 blocs from East Missa Park Drive.
The police said: “The children told the officers that they were walking in the area when a vehicle was withdrawn with two suspects wearing masks next to them.”
According to the police, one of the children told the officer that one of the suspects got out of the car, grabbed a child next to the arm and then offered her candy.
“One child soon entered, allowing children to escape and run to safety. Then the two suspects escaped at the scene,” police said.
As of Friday, the police were still active in the accident, the statement said.
The police said: “The Rock Rock Police Department urges parents to remind their children to stay aware of their surroundings, avoid talking to strangers, and not to go anywhere alone. If children have a suspicious activity, they must seek help and report them immediately.”
