A couple from Riferside was arrested after an investigation that lasted for months in allegations of child abuse and drug trafficking in their home, according to a press release issued on Saturday by the RiverSid Police Department.
The sexual assault unit on the ministry-and the child abuse unit (SACA) began an investigation in mid-May 2025 after receiving reports that they were subjected to physical abuse by their parents. By the time the authorities were notified, children were already removed from the house by child protection services in Riverburid County and placed in the care of temporary custody.
With the investigation, the investigators developed suspicions that illegal drugs were also traded from residency, which is located in the 7900 Magnolia Street. On Tuesday, 15 July, SACA investigators presented a check note with the help of the Ministry of Metro team and the drug unit.
During the search, investigators seized more than 900 grams of suspected heroin, more than 300 grams of cocaine, about 155 grams of MDMA (known as orgasm), and about 200 grams of suspected fentanel pills. Packaging and packaging materials and a wide range of money were also recovered, according to the police.
The officers noted that medications were found in the areas of the house that were easily accessible to children and believed that children may be exposed to both manufacturing and distribution operations.
Children’s parents, who were identified as 31 -year -old Miguel Jacobo and 34 -year -old Dumingz, have been seized at the Robert Presley detention center. Jacobo faces multiple criminal charges, including drug violations, child abuse and children at risk. Domingz was accused of children’s crime at risk. Both are currently being held without sponsorship.
“This investigation is still ongoing and no other details are available at this time,” the ministry said in its statement.
