Denver (KDVR) – The regional transport area will host a professional exhibition on Friday, May 30, for anyone interested in working in the agency.
The RTD Career will be held in the Platte section at 3333 Ringsby Ct. From 3-6 pm, the event will display a variety of roles, including bus operators and railways to work full-time and part-time.
RTD said job opportunities are also available for roles in maintenance, technology, supervisor or manager in bus and railway operations teams.
Benefits and payment
RTD said that the candidates who are appointed as a bus operator or a railway will receive a 4000 dollar signature in addition to the paid training – including training on the commercial driver’s license – in addition to the guidance through the process of permits for the bus operator candidates. Payment for bus operators and railways starts from $ 25.96 per hour.
“The role of the bus operator or railway is a profession that people can retire from or start as a second profession. It provides a required service for society and contributes to the agency’s mission to make life better through communications,” RTD said in a statement.
The stalls will be present at the functional exhibition of candidates for use to apply for open roles, according to RTD, who said that its employees will also be available to help in the application process.
The qualified candidates will be invited, based on their requests, to a pre -employment session for the roles of the bus and railway player.
